Despite a sluggish start, Nadeem gained momentum with each throw, peaking at the perfect moment to outclass India’s Sachin Yadav (silver) and Japan’s Yuta Sakiyama (bronze). This performance follows his historic Olympic gold win in Paris 2024, where he recorded a record-breaking 92.97m throw.

Nadeem credited his win to his faith, the support of his family and coaching team, and the love of his fans. Coach Salman Butt emphasized that Arshad is just warming up for the season and will now focus on preparing for the upcoming World Athletics Championships in September
